Threats to indigenous wildlife species and ecosystems are huge as global temperatures rise and Chinese-imposed unsustainable development make it harder for them to adapt and survive. Some 141 animal species in Tibet are considered to be endangered including the Tibetan Blue Bear that is believed to be one of the rarest bear sub-species in the world.
